I have been blessed to have my work recognized and displayed. I won three awards from the Coastal Carolina Fair and also had an art piece displayed in a Black History Month Exhibition at the Gibbes Museum of Art. I have always been an animal lover and couldn’t decide if I wanted to pursue being a veterinary technician or a wildlife conservationist. After doing some deep thinking, I decided to pursue an upper level education in graphic design. I realized that graphic design is something I would do everyday without monetary gain because I LOVE to create.
I graduated from highschool in 2023 with an Associate of Arts degree (and high school diploma) and will soon graduate with an Associate in Graphic Design, along with two certificates in Social Media Design and Website Design. Additionally, in 2024, I established my design and print shop, Leah’s Design Haven. I print t-shirts, CREATE (T-SHIRT) DESIGNS, AND DESIGN tote bags AND cups. I plan on offering more services such as embroidery and sublimation. I would ALSO like to print and design programs, invitations, flyers, and more.
From my portfolio, you will see I have created and worked on a variety of media including: posters, menus, websites, and more. Branding is the emphasis of my services and I aspire to offer services such as food photography and stop motion videos. Every new project I take on is a chance to grow, learn, and share my talent with others. I’ve always believed that creativity is one of the most powerful ways to share love and positivity. Whether I’m designing a graphic tee, creating a digital print, or bringing a client’s vision to life, my goal is to make something that touches hearts and spreads light.
Fun Facts About Me
When I’m not designing, you can usually find me spending time with family, fellowshiping with my church family, listening to good music, trying new foods, and doing something adventurous like fishing. I am a part of a family of 7 (2nd oldest of 5 children). I have 2 huskies, Luke and Snow, and a yellow glow tetra named Golden.
